On the 14/01/2019 a new coin set celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 50 Pence Coin was released by the Royal Mint,

Limited Edition of 3 500 This set was sold out by 10:00 AM The price for the Proof coins was £90 I didn't manage to get one They are now on sale on other platforms from £ 285 to £500.

The reason for this set been so expensive is the fact that the 2009 Kew Gardens coin was included in this set.
