Second coin from Dinosauria Collection
Iguanodon, is the name given to this species by doctor Gidion Mantell in 1825 because of it's similarities with the iguana.
His wife discovered a large tooth a few years earlier in Sussex but only in 1834 after an explosion in Maidstone where bones were discovered, Dr Mantell was able to picture how this particular one possible looked like.
